The FLR100 linear smoke detector is particularly suitable for applications in the field of cultural heritage protection, such as: museums, churches, historic buildings, art exhibitions, etc. Its operating principle is based on the interaction between the smoke present in an environment generated by a fire and an infrared ray emitted and reflected by a special optical reflector. More specifically, the Rx receiver processes an electrical signal proportional to the intensity of the light received, notifying an alarm or fault condition if the signal goes below an alarm or fault threshold continuously for a pre-set period of time. The detector is equipped with three LED indicators and two 7-segment displays for notifying the installer/operator of various types of information. It also has a fault relay and 2 relays for signaling the pre-alarm and alarm conditions; on the device there is a connection to a conventional fire detection line for signaling the alarm condition to the control unit
