FP1216C is a versatile directed fire detection control unit equipped with 2 class A loops. In addition to a large backlit LCD display, it provides LEDs to indicate fire and fault conditions with text descriptions for 16 fire zones on the front panel user interface. The control unit can be upgraded with 2 additional class A loops, complete network functionality between copper and fiber control units, as well as with a LON network bus that supports, among others, Aritech LON700 devices and repeaters.

The FP1216C offers extensive maintenance features, has powerful I/O programming, and supports the Aritech 2000 and 900 series protocols.

The FP1216C offers multiple automatic configuration options with extensive automatic detection capabilities that facilitate a quick initial configuration even for large systems. It is possible to connect multiple repeaters in various formats on a 2-wire network with class A and B operating modes, while it is possible to network up to 31 fire detection units for large applications
