STAM-1 R is a telephone handset expansion board, which is an integral part of the STAM-1 and STAM-2 monitoring stations. It should be connected to the STAM-1 P or STAM-1 PE receiver base board.

The device is a complete receiver of data sent from the control panels via a telephone line. Allows you to configure a supervision center for monitoring the status of connected alarm systems. STAM-1 R can be installed in the PCI slot of any PC from which only power is derived. Other hardware solutions can also be used, e.g. the cards can be installed in the STAM-BOX housing or in the monitoring station system with integrated STAM-IRS micro server. The receiver expansion board communicates with the PC via the receiver base board, to which the STAM-1 R is connected via the RS-232 pin connector.

Each telephone receiver card is equipped with an RJ-11 jack connector for a telephone line, which means that a telephone number is assigned to the monitoring station. Additionally, the device is equipped with a mini-jack connector for audio monitoring of the telephone line via headphones or speakers.

The module supports different transmission formats with automatic recognition and autonegotiation of the communication protocol. The amount of data received from the card is unlimited and their correctness is tested as they occur. The card has a FIFO buffer for 250 latest received events. The automatic diagnostics and troubleshooting functions of the connected telephone line ensure the correct functioning of the STAM-1 R.
