The KNX EELECTRON SO08L02KNX-1 button belongs to the OL-U® KNX® series, designed for wall installation and intended to manage a variety of control and command functions within residential, hotel and commercial environments.

This device is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys (16 channels), allowing the management of on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, as well as other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The configuration of the SO08L02KNX-1 button takes place through the ETS® application program, and the device can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and reliability.

Thermal Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both equipped with an integrated PI controller. This allows you to drive heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Visualization and Logic

A freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. In addition, the device has 32 logical blocks for implementing simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

Presence Detection

The SO08L02KNX-1 button integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, particularly useful in hotel environments. Thanks to a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, the device manages accurate presence information, deducing the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detecting accidental presences and different behaviors.

Installation and Design

The device is available in various colors and can be installed on a box of 2 or 3 modules, complying with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss). The SO08L02KNX-1 version is available in white.
