The KNX EELECTRON SO04L02KNX-3 button is a versatile and highly configurable control device, ideal for integration into domestic and commercial automation systems.

Key Features

This button is part of the OL-U® KNX® series and is designed for wall installation. It has up to 4 mechanical keys, which can be configured to manage on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The device can be configured through the ETS® application program and communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring secure and reliable communication within the KNX system.

Climate Control

The button integrates a two-stage thermostat for controlling two distinct areas, both equipped with an integrated PI controller. This allows the control of heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Visualization and Logic

A freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. The device has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

Presence Detection

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, particularly useful for hotel rooms. Using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, the system manages accurate presence information and can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. It is also able to detect an accidental presence and differentiate multiple behaviors.
