The EELECTRON PO71A71FX-0754 device, part of the OL-U® KNX® series, is a multifunctional humidity switch and thermostat designed for wall installation and intended to efficiently and precisely manage environmental conditions in different areas.

Key Features

This device integrates temperature and humidity sensors, ensuring a precise reading of environmental conditions. It includes two two-stage thermostats, each equipped with an integrated PI controller, for controlling two distinct areas. These thermostats are ideal for driving heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves, and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Sensors and Controls

The humidity sensor manages the reading of the relative humidity of the environment and allows the threshold control with hysteresis of humidification and dehumidification devices. The device is also equipped with an LCD display with adjustable backlighting, making it easy to view information in any light condition.

Interface and Commands

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, 4 mechanical keys (8 channels) are available for managing on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Visualization and Logic

A freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.

Integration and Security

The device is configurable through the ETS® application program and can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring secure and reliable communication within the KNX network.

Specific Applications

The ideal field of application for this device is the hotel room. Through a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors, also detecting an accidental presence and differentiating multiple behaviors.

Design and Installation

The OL-U® KNX® series is available in various colors and can be installed on boxes of 2 or 3 modules, ensuring compatibility with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss). The finishes for the keys and plates are made of Fenix, offering an elegant and durable appearance.
