The EELECTRON PO71A03PL-3 device is part of the OL-U® KNX® series, a line of innovative products for building automation. This device is designed to be installed on the wall and offers a wide range of functionality for controlling and managing various building systems.

Key Features

The PO71A03PL-3 is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys, which can be configured to manage on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions. Each button can be assigned to up to 16 different channels.

Environmental Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils. In addition, it includes temperature and humidity sensors for precise management of environmental conditions.

User Interface

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function, which allows the implementation of programmable KNX functions. A freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Programming

The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.

Virtual Pocket Logic

The PO71A03PL-3 integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, particularly useful in hotel rooms. Through a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects an accidental presence, differentiating multiple behaviors.

Compatibility and Installation

The device is compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss) and can be installed on boxes of 2 or 3 modules. The configuration takes place through the ETS® application program and the device communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol.
