The EELECTRON PO71A01FX-0754 device, part of the OL-U® KNX® series, is a multifunctional humidifier and thermostat designed for wall installation and intended to manage the environment of hotel rooms and other spaces in an efficient and personalized way.

Key Features

This device integrates temperature and humidity sensors, ensuring a precise reading of environmental conditions. It includes two two-stage thermostats, each equipped with an integrated PI controller, for controlling two distinct areas. These thermostats are ideal for driving heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves, and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Sensors and Controls

The humidity sensor manages the reading of the relative humidity of the environment and allows the threshold control with hysteresis of humidification and dehumidification devices. The device is also equipped with 4 mechanical keys (8 channels) for managing on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Interface and Configuration

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. The device can be configured through the ETS® application program and communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol.

Logic and Algorithms

The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation. In addition, it integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”.

Presence Detection

The presence detection solution allows you to infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. The device also detects an accidental presence and is able to differentiate multiple behaviors, thanks to a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input.

Installation and Compatibility

The device is available in various colors and can be installed on boxes of 2 or 3 modules, ensuring compatibility with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss).
