EELECTRON PO71A01FX-0748 Product Description

The EELECTRON PO71A01FX-0748 device, part of the OL-U® KNX® series, is a multifunctional humidity switch and thermostat designed for wall installation and integrated into the KNX automation system. This device features Fenix finishes for the keys and plates, offering an elegant and resistant design.

Key Features

The device is equipped with temperature and humidity sensors, allowing accurate management of environmental conditions. It integrates two two-stage thermostats, each with an integrated PI controller, for the control of two distinct areas. These thermostats are ideal for driving heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves, and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Sensors and Controls

The humidity sensor manages the reading of the relative humidity of the environment and allows the threshold control with hysteresis of humidification and dehumidification devices. The device also includes an LCD display with adjustable backlighting, making it easy to view information in any light condition.

Interface and Commands

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function, which allows the implementation of programmable KNX functions. In addition, 4 mechanical keys (8 channels) are available for managing on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Visualization and Logic

A freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. The device has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

Integration and Configuration

The device is configurable through the ETS® application program and can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and compatibility within the KNX automation system.

Specific Applications

The scope of the device includes the management of hotel rooms. By means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors, also detecting accidental presences and differentiating multiple behaviors.

Compatibility and Installation

The device is available in various colors and can be installed on boxes of 2 or 3 modules, ensuring compatibility with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss).
