<p/the EELECTRON BKT4FX-0748 product, part of the OL-U® KNX® series, is a multifunctional thermostat and hygrometer designed for wall installation and intended for applications in residential, commercial and hotel environments.

Key Features

This device is available in the FENIX Edition version, characterized by Fenix finishes for the keys and plates.

Display and User Interface

The device is equipped with an LCD display with adjustable backlighting, ensuring optimal visibility in any light condition.

On the front side, there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions.

In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Sensors and Environmental Control

The device integrates temperature and humidity sensors, as well as two two-stage thermostats for the control of two distinct areas.

Both thermostats are equipped with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

The hygrometer manages the reading of the relative humidity in the environment and allows the control of humidification and dehumidification devices with hysteresis.

Command Management

The device is equipped with 4 mechanical keys (8 channels) for managing on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Logic and Programming

You can use 32 logical blocks to implement simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators.

Predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation are available.

The device also integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”.

Presence Detection

The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors.

It is possible to manage accurate presence information using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input.

The system also detects an accidental presence and differentiates multiple behaviors.

Compatibility and Installation

The device is compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss) and can be installed on boxes of 2 or 3 modules.

The configuration of the device is possible through the ETS® application program and can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol.
