<p_The EELECTRON BK42PLL-3 product is a KNX switch intended for wall installation, part of the OL-U® KNX® series. This device is made of black painted plastic and includes a kit consisting of 2 keys on the left and 4 keys on the right.

Technical characteristics

The dimensions of the device, without the plate, are 71x71x25 mm, while the frame for 2 modules measures 92x92x11 mm. The assembly takes place through a built-in box.

Nutrition and Conditions of Use

• The power supply is via EIB/KNX bus with a voltage between 21 and 32V DC and a maximum consumption of 30 mA.
• The operating temperature is between -5 °C and +45 °C, while the storage temperature is between -20 °C and +55 °C.
• The permissible relative humidity is up to 90% (non-condensing).

Functionality

The BK42PLL-3 is designed to manage on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions. The device can be configured through the ETS® application program and communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol.

Thermostatic and Logic Control

• It integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.
• It has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators.
• It uses predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.
• It integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”.

User Interface

• On the front side there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions.
• A freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Applications

The main field of application of this device is the management of functionality in environments such as hotel rooms, where it can be integrated with sensors to detect presence and manage accurate room occupancy information.
