The KNX Fenix OL-U button, code SO08A01KNX, is an innovative control device designed for integration into domestic and industrial automation systems. Made with Fenix finishes for the keys and plates, this button offers a combination of style and functionality.

Key Features

The device is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys (16 channels) that can be configured to manage on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Thermostatic Control

It integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

User Interface

On the front side there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Programming

The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.

Presence Detection

It integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, particularly useful in hotel rooms. By means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects accidental presences, differentiating multiple behaviors.

Compatibility and Installation

The device can be configured through the ETS® application program and communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol. It is compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss) and can be installed on a 2- or 3-module box.
