The KNX button of the OL-U® Fenix Edition series, code SO08A01KNX, is a versatile and highly configurable control device, designed for wall installation. This device is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys, which can manage 16 channels for on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Key Features

• Integration of a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.
• Capacitive bar with swipe function on the front for implementing programmable KNX functions.
• Freely configurable RGB LED bar for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.
• 32 logical blocks available to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators.
• Use of predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.

Presence Detection Features

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, which is particularly useful in hotel rooms. Through a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects an accidental presence, differentiating multiple behaviors.

Configuration and Communication

The device can be configured through the ETS® application program and communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol. The finishes of the keys and plates are made of Fenix, offering an elegant and durable appearance.

Compatibility and Installation

The OL-U® KNX® series is available in various colors and can be installed on a box of 2 or 3 modules, compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss).
