The KNX OL-U® Fenix Edition button, code SO08A01KNX, is a versatile and highly integrated control device, designed for wall installation and compatible with the main international standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss).

Key Features

This device is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys, which can manage up to 16 channels for on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The device is configured through the ETS® application program and supports communication with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and reliability.

Thermostatic Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

User Interface

On the front side there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Programming

The device has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

Presence Detection

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, ideal for application in hotel rooms. Using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, it manages accurate presence information and can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. It also detects accidental presences and differentiates multiple behaviors.

Finishing and Installation

The KNX OL-U® Fenix Edition button includes Fenix key and plate finishes, offering an elegant and modern look. It is compatible with installations on 2- or 3-module cassettes.
