EELECTRON BK24MT-GO Product Description

The KNX Metal Edition button of the OL-U series, code SO08A01KNX, is a versatile and highly configurable control device, designed for wall installation. This device features metal finishes for the keys and plates, offering an elegant and robust appearance.

Key Features

The KNX OL-U button is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys, which can be configured to manage 16 channels. These keys can be used for on/off controls, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The device is configured through the ETS® application program, and it can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and reliability in the management of automation systems.

Temperature and Humidity Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with integrated PI controller. This allows you to drive heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Swipe functions and LED Indicators

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function, which allows the implementation of programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Algorithms

The device has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

Virtual Pocket Logic and Presence Detection

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, which is particularly useful in hotel rooms. Using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects accidental presences, differentiating multiple behaviors.

Compatibility and Installation

The KNX OL-U button is compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss) and can be installed on a 2- or 3-module box.
