The EELECTRON BK24FX-0032 product, also known as OL-U 3-module KNX button — FENIX Edition, is a wall-mounted control device, designed to integrate perfectly into domestic and commercial automation systems based on the KNX protocol.

Key Features

This device is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys (16 channels) that can be configured to manage various commands such as on/off, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The device is configured through the ETS® application program, and it supports communication with the KNX Data Secure protocol to ensure high data security.

Climate Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

User Interface

On the front side there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Algorithms

The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. Predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation are also available.

Presence Detection

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, which is particularly useful in hotel rooms. By means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects an accidental presence, differentiating multiple behaviors.

Design and Installation

The FENIX Edition includes Fenix key finishes and plates, offering an elegant design compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss). The device can be installed on a box of 2 or 3 modules.
