The KNX EELECTRON BK08MT-SH button, belonging to the OL-U® KNX® series, is a high-quality component designed for integration into domestic and industrial automation systems. This button features a metal design, available in silver (SH) finish, which guarantees an elegant and robust appearance.

Key Features

The BK08MT-SH button is compatible with the SO08A01KNX-3M device and includes a set of 8 mechanical keys. Each button can be configured to manage various commands, including on/off, brightness adjustment, control of shutters and blinds, and other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The keys can be configured through the ETS® application program and communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and reliability in data transmission.

Integrated Functionality

The SO08A01KNX-3M device, with which the BK08MT-SH button is used, integrates several advanced features:

• A two-stage thermostat for controlling two distinct areas, with integrated PI controllers for controlling heating, cooling, valves and fan coils.
• A capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions.
• A freely configurable RGB LED bar for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.
• 32 logical blocks to implement simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators.

Presence Detection

The device includes the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, which manages accurate presence information using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input. This solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects accidental presences, differentiating multiple behaviors.

The BK08MT-SH button is compatible with the main installation standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss) and can be installed on a box of 2 or 3 modules.
