EELECTRON BK08MT-GO Product Description

The EELECTRON BK08MT-GO device, part of the OL-U® KNX® series, is a wall-mounted push-button panel designed to offer complete and customizable management of command and control functions in residential and commercial environments.

Key Features

This device has up to 8 mechanical keys, which can be configured to manage on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions. Each button can be associated with 2 channels, allowing a total of 16 control channels.

Configuration and Communication

The device is configured using the ETS® (Engineering Tool Software) application program, which allows detailed customization of the system's functions and behaviors. The device communicates with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring secure and reliable data transmission.

Control functions

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, equipped with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

User Interface

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function, which allows the implementation of programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Algorithms

The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity controls, as well as dew point calculation.

Virtual Pocket Logic

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, particularly useful for applications in hotel rooms. By means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects an accidental presence, differentiating multiple behaviors.
