The KNX button of the OL-U® Fenix Edition series, code SO08A01KNX, is a versatile and highly customizable control device, designed for wall installation and compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, Swiss).

Key Features

This KNX button is equipped with up to 8 mechanical keys (16 channels), which can be configured to manage on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

Configuration and Communication

The device is configured through the ETS® application program and supports communication with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and stability in the management of automation systems.

Environmental Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, both with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

User Interface

On the front side there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Algorithms

The device has 32 logical blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.

Virtual Pocket Logic

The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, particularly useful in applications in hotel environments. Through a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects an accidental presence, differentiating multiple behaviors.
