BLADE is a dual-technology (MW + IR) volumetric detector of a wired type with curtain protection and a high performance range of 4 meters that offers small dimensions and a low profile. The detector, depending on the needs, can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position and between the dark-shutter and the window-door. The vertical opening of the IR beam of only 15° guarantees maximum accuracy, reducing the risk of false alarms by covering the actual spaces to be protected without extending the beams to surrounding environments. BLADE uses a digital passive infrared sensor and a 24GHZ microwave section equipped with a small planar DRO antenna.
