The Performance Line is the Guardall line of motion sensors (PQ15 and DT15 series); both series are intended for the protection of residential and commercial premises.
DT15 AM incorporates a highly effective X-band microwave together with proven PIR technology. This coupling produces an excellent dual-technology sensor that greatly improves immunity to false alarms.
Equipped with a sophisticated anti-masking system with active IR “through the lens” and microwaves, the sensor detects any attempt to mask or inhibit the detection of one or both technologies. Thanks to the anti-stealth function, the sensor precisely analyzes microwave and PIR activity and significantly improves the detection capacity in extreme conditions. It also detects intrusion attempts made using infrared shielding materials and a small mirror is used to improve detection performance in the immediate vicinity of the sensor.
It has been designed to be simple to install and, with the three LEDs inside the sensor, to facilitate efficient analysis of technologies. It has a unique varifocal lens design that allows the sensor to be installed between 2.1 m and 2.5 m without adjustment
