The EELECTRON DM04A02KNX universal dimmer is a high-quality lighting control device, designed to be integrated into the KNX automation system. This 4-channel dimmer offers exceptional versatility, thanks to its ability to automatically identify the type of load and to adapt to different types of lamps.

Channel Configurations

The 4 channels can be used independently or combined in pairs (1+2 and 3+4) to drive higher power loads, always respecting the maximum power values indicated.

Types of Load Adjustment

• Trailing Edge [RC]: Load regulation is achieved by intervening in the final part of the input voltage waveform. This configuration is used for capacitive or resistive loads, such as halogen lamps with electronic transformers or incandescent lamps.
• Leading Edge [L]: Load regulation is achieved by intervening in the initial part of the input voltage waveform. This configuration is used for inductive loads, such as ferromagnetic or toroidal transformers.

Support Tools

To determine the maximum load and the maximum number of connected lamps, the DimmerLoadTester software is available, which allows you to analyze the peak absorption of a single lamp and calculate the maximum number of lamps that can be connected.

The dimmer is available in compact dimensions, with a size of 4 modules, making it easy to assemble in standard electrical boxes.
