The DM02A02KNX by EELECTRON is a universal KNX 2-channel dimmer, designed to offer high flexibility and precision in the control of different types of lamps.

Key Features

This dimmer is equipped with automatic identification of the type of load, allowing an optimization of control for LED, incandescent, halogen lamps, dimmable compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) and low voltage lamps with electronic or ferromagnetic transformers.

Channel Configurations

The two channels can be used independently or combined to manage higher power loads, always in compliance with the maximum power values indicated in the technical specifications.

Load Adjustment Mode

• Trailing Edge (RC): The dimmer interrupts the final part of the input voltage wave, reducing the lamp output. This adjustment is used for resistive or capacitive loads, such as halogen lamps with electronic transformers or incandescent lamps.
• Leading Edge (L): The dimmer interrupts the initial part of the input voltage wave, reducing the lamp output. This regulation is used for inductive loads, such as ferromagnetic or toroidal transformers.

Configuration and Analysis Tools

To define the maximum load and the maximum number of lamps that can be connected, the DimmerLoadTester software is available. This tool analyzes the peak absorption of a single lamp and calculates the maximum number of lamps that can be connected.

Integration with the KNX Protocol

The DM02A02KNX is configurable through the ETS® application program and can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring full integration with domestic and industrial automation systems.
