<p/the KNX Corridor device (PD00E21KNX) is an extended-range presence and motion sensor, designed for indoor use, particularly suitable for corridors where wide coverage is needed.

Key Features

This device is equipped with a passive infrared sensor for the detection of presence and movement. It has 5 independently configurable channels, allowing different functions such as the detection of presence with or without brightness control, and with automatic or semi-automatic activation.

Configurations and Functionalities

The presence detection can be configured with or without brightness control and with automatic or semi-automatic activation.
It is possible to set a constant brightness, independent or dependent on presence, with automatic or semi-automatic activation.
The sensor uses two distinct sensing elements, allowing different behaviors to be assigned to each element through parameterization with ETS (Engineering Tool Software).

Integration and Control

The device includes a rear connector with 2 digital inputs that can be connected to buttons or switches with free potential, allowing the control of functions such as on/off, dimmers, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions.

One of the inputs can be configured as analog for connecting NTC temperature probes (eelectron codes TS00A01ACC/TS00B01ACC/TS00D01ACC), allowing the measurement and management of the temperature on the KNX bus or the control of a complete thermostatic module.

Thermostat and Environmental Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat with integrated PI controller for controlling heating and cooling appliances, valves, 2- and 4-pipe fan coils, etc.
A version with integrated temperature and relative humidity sensor is also available, which can be used to control actuators for the regulation of ambient relative humidity.

Logic and Visualization

The device has 12 logical blocks for implementing simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are available for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

In addition, the device includes the 'Virtual Holder Logic' and the 'Circadian Rhythm logic'.

Visualization

The RGB LED bar on the front side allows the display of states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.
The glass covers are available in different versions, including those that can be customized with backlit icons.
