The CDX series has 82 high-density detection zones. Within the detection area, 4 or more zones must be crossed to distinguish between people and small animals.
In addition, the digital "PLATFORM CORE" MPU processor has been recently developed for the CDX series which offers reliable and accurate performance.
Active IR anti-masking
The CDX series uses AIR technology to detect sensor masking. To realize stable detection, the CDX series distinguishes actual masking and other masking caused by environmental changes such as adhesion of dust/dirt, temperature changes and direct light by optimizing its sensitivity.
Robust microwave module
Most combination detectors use a universal microwave module. OPTEX has developed an original and patented microwave module, specially designed for its security detectors, which stabilizes detection performance by counteracting natural degradation for a long operating life
