The ELSNER 71050 product, known as Cala KNX T 202 Sunblind, is a curtain and temperature control controller integrated into the KNX building bus system. This device is designed to provide efficient and intuitive management of the climate and lighting in your facility.

The Cala KNX T 202 has an elegant design with a glass, plastic and metal housing, available in two colors: white (similar to RAL 9010) and black (similar to RAL 9005).

Installation and Dimensions

The device is designed to be installed recessed into the wall, using a Ø 60 mm and 42 mm deep junction box or a Ø 68 mm hole housing. The dimensions of the device are approximately 55 mm x 55 mm x 35 mm, with an installation depth of approximately 10 mm and a total weight of approximately 50 grams.

Control Functionality

The Cala KNX T 202 includes temperature control functionality with two adjustment areas (warmer, cooler). The temperature can be measured using an integrated sensor, which compensates for the self-heating of the device. It is possible to calculate mixed values by combining the measured values with the external ones, setting the proportion as a percentage.

The device also includes a PI controller for heating (one or two levels) and cooling (one or two levels), with adjustment according to separate setpoints or a basic setpoint.

User Interface and LED

The user interface consists of touch-sensitive buttons that allow you to call various functions in the KNX system. The LEDs can be set to be turned off, used as ambient lighting, or controlled individually.

The area function can be activated by touching two or more buttons at the same time, and the buttons can be configured as switches, selectors, 8 or 16 bit encoders or to call up scenarios.
