The Cala KNX T 201 Sunblind temperature controller, code 70990, is a versatile and highly integrated device for temperature control and management of curtains, awnings and blinds within the KNX building bus system.

Temperature Control

The Cala KNX T 201 Sunblind includes a temperature controller with heating and cooling functions at one or two levels. The adjustment is based on separate setpoints or a basic setpoint. The device can also calculate mixed values between internal and external data and compensate for the self-heating of the device itself.

Curtain and Blinds Management

The device manages an operating area for curtains, awnings, blinds or windows with two areas (up/down with short/long distinction). The area function can be extended for 5 seconds with each push of the button.

Logic and Additional Functions

The Cala KNX T 201 Sunblind includes 2 AND logic gates and 2 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. The 8 logic inputs can be used as inputs for logic gates. The outputs of each port can be optionally configured as 1-bit or 2 x 8-bit.

Display and Operation

The device display can show the current temperature value, the target value, or the shift from the base setpoint. The display brightness can be adjusted and turned off via bus. The + and - buttons allow you to increase or decrease the target temperature.

Installation and Maintenance

The installation must be carried out by qualified electricians or under their supervision. The device requires a Ø 60 mm junction box and a frame compatible with the circuit breaker scheme used in the building. Maintenance includes cleaning the ventilation slots and using a soft, dry cloth to clean the device.
