ATEX IS siren

The inherently safe IS-S siren has been certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres for Group I (Mining Industry) and Group II (Outdoor) applications and has a high degree of IP66 protection. This range is suitable for Fire, Security, Process Control and general signaling applications. The siren has a two-level alarm option and has a total of 32 selectable tones, selectable via a dip switch, and emits sounds of up to 105dB at 1 meter. A specially designed mounting base allows for quick and easy installation. The connections are made at the base during the initial cabling phase for a fast and reliable installation. The siren is snap-mounted onto the mounting base. This unit must be used together with an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator. Approved by ATEX, IECEx. Group I MI Ex ia I Ma.
