Cutting Capacity

The KNIPEX 95 12 225 StepCut® XL offer a large cutting capacity, allowing you to cut solid copper or aluminum cables up to 35 mm², stranded fiber cables up to 70 mm² and fine stranded fiber cables up to 120 mm² (4/0AWG).

Double Cutting Areas

The stepped cutting blade keeps small and large cables close to the joint while cutting, while the front cutting blade cuts very large cables step by step.

Easy Operation

The scissors allow easy operation with one or two hands, with a minimum opening of the handles for large cable diameters.

Adjustable joint

The adjustable high-lever and bolted joint ensures a precise and smooth cut.

Accessibility and Security

The thin head of the scissors makes it easy to access tight spaces, while the guard against the clamp prevents the operator's fingers from being pinched.

Blade Hardness

These scissors are not suitable for steel-reinforced cables, such as ACSR.
