The ELSNER 70974 KNX VOC/TH-UP Touch CH environment controller is a multifunctional device designed for the control and management of the internal environment, integrating functions for measuring the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOC), temperature and humidity. This device is compatible with the KNX protocol and integrates perfectly into home and industrial automation systems.

Measurement functionality

The device measures the VOC concentration in the range from 400 to 2000 ppm, the temperature in the range from 0 to +50°C and the relative humidity in the range from 0% to 95% RH. Also, calculate the dew point.

Ventilation and Heating/Cooling System Control

The controller includes a PI regulator that allows you to control ventilation based on VOC concentration and air humidity, as well as to manage the heating/cooling system based on temperature.

Logic and Comparison

• 4 AND logic gates and 4 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. Each switching event, as well as 16 logic inputs in the form of communication objects, can be used as inputs for the logic gates.
• 2 drive variable comparators for the output of minimum, maximum or average values. Each with 5 inputs (for values received through communication objects).
