The BX-TE module combines the functionality of a 4-channel button interface with a sophisticated temperature probe, allowing a traditional button to be transformed into a KNX source.

Buttons interface

The device inherits the characteristics of the BX-4XIO model with regard to the button interface part, offering 4 digital inputs that can be configured for various purposes.

Temperature Probe

The integrated solid-state digital temperature probe is extremely accurate, with measurement values between -55 °C and 125 °C and a resolution of 0.5 °C. It does not require any calibration procedure and can be installed on the back of the hole covers, suitably drilled to allow a correct measurement of the ambient temperature.

Thermostat functionality

The thermostat control does not have local control controls or a display for displaying data. The setting and viewing operations are performed through a supervisory device, such as a Blumotix Touch Panel or a Smartphone with the KRIM application.

Configurations and Commands

• Thermostat mode selection (single or dual) with 1-bit object.
• Thermostat on/off command with 1-bit object.
• Summer/winter mode selection with 1-bit object.
• Setpoint temperature setting with 2-Byte object.
• Instantaneous temperature reading with a 2-Byte object.
• 1-bit on/off output and additional output selectable between 3-bit fan control or linear with 1-Byte control.

Installation and Use
