The EELECTRON SB40A09KNX-PLCR device is a 4-channel KNX® touch button, designed to manage a wide range of functions within a home or industrial automation system.

Key Features

This device can be configured to execute on/off commands, dimmers, control of shutters and blinds, recall of scenes and sequences of objects. In addition, it integrates a two-stage thermostat with PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Interface and Communication

The SB40A09KNX is equipped with a KNX communication interface, which allows communication with the KNX Data Secure protocol. The device is configured through the ETS® application program.

Visualization and Feedback

On the front side of the device there is a freely configurable RGB LED bar, used to display states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Inputs and Sensors

The device includes a 2-pole rear input configurable as digital or analog, allowing you to connect an NTC temperature probe (eelectron codes TS01A01ACC or TS01B01ACC) to obtain a second temperature measurement.

Assembly and Compatibility

The SB40A09KNX is designed to be installed in English, German or Italian 2-module boxes, ensuring easy integration with the main mounting standards.

Logical Functionality

• It has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, as well as complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators.
• It supports predefined algorithms for proportional temperature and humidity controls, dew point calculation, and other control functions.
• Including the “Virtual Pocket Logic” to manage specific scenarios, such as the management of hotel rooms.
