Power and Connectivity

The intercom can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) according to the 802.3af standard (Class 0 - 12.95 W) or through an external power supply at 12 V DC ± 15%/2 A. Connectivity is guaranteed by a 10/100BASE-TX LAN interface with auto-MDIX and RJ-45 connector, recommending CAT-5e or higher cables.

Audio Functionality

The 2N IP Uni has a sensitive microphone and a powerful speaker, with an output power of 1 W and a maximum sound pressure level of 77.5 dB at 1 kHz and 1 m away. It supports full-duplex communication with acoustic echo cancellation and uses G.711 audio codecs (PCMU and PCMA) with a bandwidth of 64 kbps (with 85.6 kbps headers).

Interface and Configuration

The intercom offers configuration via web interface or through a dedicated PC application. It supports the SIP 2.0 protocol and includes an HTTP server for configuration and an SNTP client for synchronizing the time with a server.

Assembly and Safety

The product offers variable mounting options, including wall mounting and flush mounting on bricks or drywall. To ensure greater security, it is possible to use the 2N Security Relay, which prevents the opening of the electrical lock through forced tampering with the intercom.
