The 2N Access Unit 2.0 Touch Keypad & RFID (code 9160336-S) is a compact and versatile access control unit designed to meet the highest security requirements. This device combines the functions of a traditional controller with those of a final access device, based entirely on IP technology.

The 2N Access Unit 2.0 Touch Keypad & RFID integrates an RFID card reader and a touch numeric keypad, offering a complete solution for access control.

RFID reader

• Support for 125 kHz (EM4100, EM4102, Prox) and 13.56 MHz (ISO14443A, ISO14443B, NFC) frequencies
• Reading the serial number of ID cards and PACs (HID iClass cards with SIO object)

Touch keyboard

• Capacitive touch technology with high touch layer sensitivity (0.1 pF)
• Regular automatic calibration (SmartSence) to avoid false touches on wet surfaces
• Configurable background brightness indication and acoustic response for each touch on the keyboard

Installation and Configuration

The installation is simple and requires only an Ethernet cable with PoE power, plus the ability to directly connect a port magnet and a REX button to the device.

• Remote management through the 2N® Remote Configuration service or using the 2N® Access Commander software for bulk management
